Beachfront House

Exclusive, site-specific design for a new 2,800 s.f. house in a tight and restrictive site on the beach.

This beachfront Toronto location  required extensive community consultation, a win at the Committee of Adjustment and a win at the Ontario Municipal Board. With the existence of many established trees on and around the site, the project required extensive consultation with the Urban Forestry department. Wood from the existing derelict cottage was salvaged and incorporated into the new structure in order to retain favourable setbacks.
